Courtney Robertson - WA
Courtney Robertson, 20, WA Becoming a Youth Ambassador was something I've always wanted to do. The people I met through World Vision and the experiences I had gave me a sense of fulfilment, which I wanted to take one step further. After seeing in India not only the desperation in people, but also the hope, it made me realise what can come of the money raised through the 40 Hour Famine, and it's definitely something to get excited about. The trip to India has also inspired me to be more conscious about what I buy. After seeing children as young as four working day-in, day-out for 14 hours a day, it made me realise that I can't support that, or the conditions they are forced to work in.
