THE FAMINE Weekend 
So you've chosen your challenge, donations are flowing in, and now you're getting ready for a huge Famine Weekend! Pick a date. THE FAMINE: 2008 officially runs from 8pm on Friday 15 August to noon on Sunday 17 August. But if you can't do it then it’s OK to choose another time. Just make sure all fundraising and banking is done by the 30 September 2008.
Promote your event Remember: The Famine is NOT about losing weight or taking health risks. Make sure you carefully read and follow the Famine Guidelines. The 40 Hour Famine is a community education and fundraising initiative of World Vision Australia. |
