A smile is the first thing you look for when you give a gift – so why not spread it further? With a gift from our Smiles catalogue, you’ll stretch that smile from someone you love to someone far away.

You can spend as little as $5 or as much as $387,597. Whatever the amount, you’ll be contributing to the lives of children, families and communities in need.

And that’s gotta make you smile, too.

Our Smiles gift catalogue makes giving easy. Here you can find out all you need to know about choosing a Smiles gift for your friend or loved one.

Gift categories

To make it easier for you to choose, gifts are listed by category, such as Animals or Water, or you can filter by price bracket– under $25, $25-$50, $51-$100, $101-$600 and over $600. You can also choose one of our special gift packages which include combinations of gifts with a shared focus. View gifts via the navigation on the left hand side of the screen or by clicking on the gift images shown on the Smiles homepage. Clicking on any of the gift category links will take you to a page displaying all the gifts for that category. More information about each item can be found by clicking on the product photograph or title.

How Smiles works

You may be wondering how we deliver your Smiles gifts to children and families in poor communities, particularly the furry and feathery ones!

No, we don’t try and put the gifts into boxes and ship them off overseas. Instead, each Smiles gift you buy represents the kind of activities we will carry out on your behalf.

So, if you buy a chicken or a vegie pack, for example, your contribution will go towards our agriculture and environment work to help communities grow nutritious food, generate income and protect and revive their environments.

Or if you buy a mosquito net or a toilet, you’ll be contributing to our work to help communities gain access to basic healthcare, water and sanitation.

You’ll also find gifts that represent our education and training projects, our work with Indigenous communities, our emergency relief work, and our programs to protect children from exploitation and abuse.

Gift Registry

The Smiles gift registry is an alternative way to use the Smiles gift catalogue. Instead of creating a department store registry list for your wedding or other special occasion, you can choose gifts to help children, families and communities around the world.

There are 48 unique and useful gifts to choose from, starting at just $5. Each one could change someone's life. Simply deselect the box beside any gift you don't want on your list. Remember that the same gift can be chosen more than once by more than one guest - while you can have too many toasters, there's no such thing as too many mosquito nets!

Once you create a gift list, we will send you gift cards to include when sending out invitations for your celebration. Guests can then go online and purchase gifts from your list. You can access your gift list at any time to view purchases and personal messages left by your guests.
