Is it just me or does anyone else find it strange that there's a thread on cigarettes here? What's next, fairtrade alcohol?

Rum is made from sugar. Are sugar plantations the sort of place where people are exploited? You hear so much about coffee and chocolate etc but I've never heard it about sugar.

Ok, apparently Oxfam sells fairtrade alochol (so my mother tells me).
Apparently its organic and australian, so its not what I usually think of as fairtrade, but yes, fairtrade alcohol was next :P

My question about alcohol was cynical. It was intended to highlight an ethical problem with posting threads on cigarettes on a youth forum.
