So, I've recently rekindled my love for the Teachers Without Borders website - having found a new opportunity with the emergency education department in Seattle. It's a remote position, so I am hoping I have a chance :)
Ryan, I am pretty sure there is a bunch of fields that have it... lawyers without borders and such too. I think they are amazing, because there is a need across the board for people to work and fight for justice in many fields, and there needs to be people who are great in their field to make the difference.

Awesome! I haven't heard of teachers without borders before, but that's kool that it exists and there is a site for it, because the reason i am studying teaching extends back to a dream of doing mission/aid work overseas.
I'm studying primary ed, but i totally agree with what you were saying about art! It can be so helpful in helping people express themselves too, i should set apart time to get back into it myself...
